Default Thanks

Just want to say thanks to the people who gave advice on my new 75 gal. planted tank setup. Tom Barr especially helped me out. I've had the tank going for about 3 weeks now and everything is flowing smoothly. Plant growth is very steady, and I have very little algae at this point (except for some sporadic hair algae due to excess Iron, which was due to excess traces I dosed on one occasion).

The 170 watts of lighting seems to be about the right amount for my tank. The Cabomba, L. Sessiliflora, and L. Aquitica are producing nice thick "stands" of forest like growth.

I also had what I would've used to think was too much phosphate, but it doesn't seem to have any effect except for exceptional growth.
