Default Silicon Valley Aquarium Society Meeting Saturday September 4

Freshwater Shrimp!

On Saturday, September 4 Sabrina Fulhart of the SVAS will give a
fascinating talk about Freshwater Shrimp,

They're fun to watch. They eat algae. Sometimes they even eat fish, and
they taste great with coctail sauce. They're everyone's favorite
freeswimming invert, shrimp! Join us to learn more about these
fascinating creatures. They're easy to raise, and some species will
breed in your tanks. Finally, something with legs for your tank!

7:00 pm Saturday, September 4, 2004
(arrive by 6:30 to order dinner!!)

Round Table Pizza
4302 Moorpark Ave.
San Jose, CA
(One block south of 280 at Saratoga exit)

As always, an auction and raffle follow the presentation. Auctions
include 100+ bags of fish & plants every month, and raffle prizes
typically include tanks, filters, supplies and more.

Full details on the club web site: http://www.svas.info

And mark your calendars: MegaAuction III is coming on October 2.
Hundreds of bags of fish will be auctioned on one big night. Don't miss
out!

Wish I lived in Slicon Valley!

Anyone aware of a comparable group in the Detroit, Mi, USA area?
