Beautiful. What a nice splash of color to have growing.

You can take good photos with a bad camera, and horrible photos with a good
camera.

Thanks Stan, I should point out, these aren't growing in my yard. The flame
trees can be very temperamental, some years they flower. others they don't,
this year seems to be a good year.

Reminds me of a plant that my wife had years ago. It would make a bud, and
bloom only once a year (maybe). She took her sister out to show her, and
just then, my son (who was about 3 years) reached out and plucked the bud
off.

Heh, you story reminded my of when I was a child. My mother planted a
grapevine, and finally after a couple of years it produced a couple of
bunches of grapes. My mother hovered over the vine, tending to it and was
really looking forward to eating the grapes. Just before they ripened, my
cousin and I picked them and ate them. LOL my mother was absolutely furious
and I received a bit of a hiding and then she poured half a bottle of castor
oil down my throat...I rarely eat grapes to this day. :-D
