Now that I've re-examined this I believe it is actually a young female
Rufous instead...which is kind of unusual for me. They don't usually hang
out at my place. All I usually see is Anna's.

Nice shot Pat, they all look the same to me? The hummers at my place are
mostly greenish gray?

They'd be Anna's. I see them around here almost all the time. The females
are grayish with green backs.

When I originally posted this one I didn't pay much attention to it when I
was processing it except to determine that it was an immature female. So I
called it a female Anna's.

Later I happened to be purging a bunch of pics from my "Sent" file and I
took a second look at her and realized she'd a sort of tannish rusty color -
not gray. Don't know how I missed that the first time.
