Sorry, but that's not a good idea. It habituates the gulls to human feeding, and once habituated they will actually attack people with food. Around here, we have signs at all picnic areas asking people to refrain from feeding the gulls. And to replace the covers on the garbage cans, as otherwise those feathered rats will get into the cans and scatter the garbage. It's never happened to me :-) Mary -- Hello Mary......so nice to see you. Well whatever the opinion is....I sure had a good time with them. Most of them where fast but took the bread gently..... Needless to say ..I still have all my fingers, and no one drew blood. There where a bunch of them that didn't even come to the bread. I guess they had been fishing. Your friend, Patty |
