Default July 1 - Backyard Garden-B_065.JPG

Though I have posted similar shots before, here is another view of our
backyard garden.

My wife wasn't home today to yell at me for it, so I crawled out onto
our roof to get this particular angle. Because of the acrobatics
necessary, I used my little pocket Sony camera instead of my usual
Canon dSLR.

This shot shows about a third of our property. I've spent 6-years
working on this section, and it is really starting to get to what I
had in mind when I started. Sorry, but after so much time and effort,
I guess I'm kind of proud of the results.

Maybe in another year or two I'll start working on the "outback" acre.

It certainly is beautiful. Please get off that damn roof before you fall and
break your neck. Your Mom would be ticked too!!

John, that's a great shot! Man, everything is so nicely edged. I really
like the circular design. The center looks like a nice place to relax in a
chair to admire your work. You've got good reason to be proud!

It's your local park. I don't believe it's your garden.

That is, I don't want to believe it's your garden :-(

It's too perfect and too BIG!

Maybe in another year or two I'll start working on the "outback" acre.

And grow an arbotetum?

Hrumph!

Mary
p.s. I have some pine tree seedlings grown from cone seeds from a daughter's
Welsh farm if you'd like them - they'd just about fit into your little plot

You should be proud. I can imagine how much work it took to get it
setup to begin with and I know how much works it takes to keeps it
looking this nice. Incredible!

A beautiful view John, but stay off the roof. Now if you want another
project, build a gazebo in the
middle then you & your wife can sit & relax, maybe have some tea.
Great job.
Cheers Wendy
