Default Aug 28 Longwood-B - Waterlily_6047.jpg

One of the things I love most about Longwood Gardens in the summer is
their display of water-lilies. Here is a series I shot today (and yes,
Longwood puts dye in the water to make the effect more dramatic).
Sorry, but I didn't copy down all the cultivar names.

Those are gorgeous water lilies and stunning photos of them! Thanks for
posting.

I just thought I'd mention that the dye added to the water not only
increases the dramatic effect, but it also helps reduce algae growth by
limiting the penetration of sunlight into the water.
