I wonder why I thought that - is/was there someone else from Holland?

Not anymore, we used to have a high rainfall, but these days it's very dry.
I do have my own bore, which keeps my plants alive in the meantime.

Very lush, Barbara, in spite of the dry conditions. It looks heavenly.

You are just heading into spring, now, but it probably never gets very
cold there, I'd guess.

Thanks Dave, I have a bore so can keep my plants alive, though it damages
the foliage of delicate plants. :-)

Depends on what you call cold. :-) Anything under 20 C is cold to me. :-D
We did have a very cold snap this past winter, set records in some areas, I
think it got down to 2 C in our area, thankfully it was only a day or two.

We can go a month or so without going above 0 C, so it's definitely
different. (Near the southern end of Lake Michigan, US Midwest) We
always appreciate southern folks who post summery pictures - helps us
get through winter.
