I didn't copy down the name of this guy in the Longwood Gardens desert
house, but I really liked the natural monochrome, the play of light
and shadow, and the texture of the leaves. This is not a macro shot.
The plant was a tall as I am.

The flower stalk grows up 6 to 8 feet then makes a u-turn and grows back
toward the ground
