Right you are!
Bees are very intelligent.
They send the ladies out to work in the fields while the males just hang
out in the hive waiting for the call to mate with a new Queen.
We can learn a lot from bees. :-)

Drones don't just hang about in the hive and when they do they are helping
to maintain the temperature. Mating doesn't happen in the hive and isn't
usually between drones from the same colony as the queen.

We can learn a lot from bees. :-)

Only the 'we' who don't know what's really happening in a colony :-)

Yes we can. We can also learn to get rid of the do-nothing drones
when things get tough ;-
