My mother had them too - usually the ubiquitous blue ones. I never really
liked them but we do have some in this garden - don't know why.

However, Pat has the knack of making ANYTHING look exquisite.

I'm wondering why this rush of pictures (NOT complaining!) - is it a
clear-out of files or has there been a visit to a speciality garden or ...
couldn't possibly be an attempt to convert me, could it?

A tiny crack in my defences is showing ...

My guess is that it's the season, one of my iris is about to bloom. I
thought of taking a picture of just the bud and posting it.

Spring is here. (some places, anyway)

Yep, spring has sprung here in Philadelphia, Pa. Even my house plants
are sprouting new leaves etc. The trees are blooming and lots of
spring flowers wherever I walk. Lots of parks and planters where I
live.

Yes.

Convert you from what to what? Nah. I have no ulterior motives. It's just
that I visited a special place the other day and made a few shots and wanted
to share them.

I had the impression that vis-a-vis your internal debate about DSLR vs.
point-'n-shoot that you were already leaning toward a DSLR of some sort.
