Works for me. ;-)



To answer your question, Wendy, the negative of a colour picture is also
in colour, complementary colours in fact. Eg, purple -- orange, green
-- red, etc. To make a b/w negative from a colour image, first convert
to gray scale, then convert to negative.

If your image viewer has few basic filters, it may also have
solarisation. Play with that - you some nice effects!

Wendy, if you want to get a color picture to come out in black and
white, go to Image, enhance colors and slide the saturation all the
way to the left.
