Hopefully someone can identify

I live in Southern Calif. and these were in a wild flower mix. They are
about the only thing that grew. Hopefully someone knows what they are.

Hopefully someone can identify

Can't be certain without flowers, but they look like Cosmos bipinnatus to
me....they make an excellent cut flower and will reseed and return year
after year. They do grow wild in parts of the US.
