COLD!
This is a shot of my neighbor's pond...1/4 mile away. I used a 60-300mm
Tamron Adaptall Lens with a 2X Teleconverter (making it 600mm +) on my
Canon XTi...from inside my warm house.

Makes a beautiful photo but good you were warm duing the taking.
