Do you have any pictures of those mighty Oaks?
All I found with google was a bunch of adds for property for sale.
I didn't try real hard.

This is the best I have ... we were always too interested
in taking pics of the house we built ... but the tree was in
front, just by the road ...

One year, going out on the deck in the evening, we
heard all sorts of crunchy noises ... we turned the flood
lights on, got flashlights & found numerous sets of
eyes 'eye-balling' us from different branches of the oak
tree ... raccoons eating the acorns ... first & last time
we ever saw that ... & we lived there 20 years ...

A 3-story house, on pilings, w/ the tree in the front which
was taller than the house ... across the street were
more oaks ... we figured it was a relatively safe place
to build, given hurricanes ... Fran was bad ,,, we were
kept off the island for almost 2 weeks, w/ the National
Guard keeping order, but we only had a few shingles
missing ... but the general damage to the island was
pretty bad ...

Thanks, I can see it is windblown which gives it a nice shape. I
remember on in my Grandmas yard in VA. It was not so wind blown but
old and big. My older brother found one of the lower limbs useful as a
support for his chain haul and removing engines from his cars in the
50's. I see them sometimes when on trips around the areas of beauty
here. I do enjoy the trees I guess as much as Kilmer did.
