I was not sure what this was when it appeared near my back door. It is
a cycad and I thought it was done for but I cut off the old dried
leaves and watered it and it is growing.in my garage. I will bring it
up to the deck later on in a place where the dog won't be tempted to
chew on it. She is pretty good in the garden and loves to go far to
the back and nestle among the ivy.
