In German they're called 'Russian Bears'. They are seen here in August
mainly.

Where else? It's the only country on Planet USA.

Actually, Willi's address shows him to be from Australia.

It sounds much better in French, but then, everything does.

Haha ;) As it happens I've an US-flag currently at my site, the link is
especially for you ;)

The Austrian flag looks like this:

(The British is still under construction, but could be finished anytime.)

If anybody has use for them, they'll have to dl quickly. The flags won't
be there forever.

Haha, Austria, not Australia (.at != .au). Austria is situated on the
very opposite part of the earth in relation to New Zealand. :) You can
call it Central Europe if you like.

After having several letters take the long way round via Sydney or
Melbourne, Australia, I now address letters to my relatives to "Austria
- Europe". World geography is no longer a mandated subject in our
schools, more's the pity.

Teachers used to mention things like these in school when Australia was
on the schedule. It seems that these mistakings happened too often as it
would be profitable to keep the envelopes of the letters as collectors
items. ;)
