Default After the fireweed

After the colour come the seeds, in distinctive long pods that curl as
they split open. Each seed has a long hair to float it on the air
currents until it finds a spot in your garden.
Fireweed dies down in winter but the strong dead stems make sure nothing
moves in on its patch.
