Weed of the week: fungi
A weed's usually defined as a plant in the wrong place. Fungi aren't
plants but my lawn's definitely the wrong place. It's been a wet autumn and the toadstools are loving it. So far I've counted eight different kinds ranging from clumps a foot across to a bright red one the size of a matchstick. Which might be hallucinogenic if it was big enough. It's meant to be grass, I want to mow it not pick it!
