cactus grafting

I grafted this one last summer. The connection seems firm. I'm curious now how fast it will grow. Under normal conditions I expect the first flowers within 3 years.
My last try from 2013 failed. - It fell off when somebody tested with their fingers how resilient the connection was. :)
