Default Amaryllis again

You have seen this Amaryllis before but not in this condition.
It grew a long stem and gave us 4 flowers. That stem was cut back
which encouraged another stem to grow which is the tall one here.
But there was something that looked like a bud on the plant when we
first unpacked it from its cardboard box, but the tip of it was
mutilated. That is now the lower flower here, giving us a big bloom
but no stem. It is hard up against the other stem and the leaves so I
can so no way it will find the space to produce 3 more flowers.
Watch this space.

Happg Easter, by the way ! Gorgeous weather today in southern
England. This morning I planted up two small tubs with Calibrochoa
which should look very colorful later.
