Great Walkway Flowers

I have a walkway leading to an attached room on the side of the house
that currently is just dirt with slight natural growth. Id like to plan
some very pretty flowers that could possibly blowm year round. i live
in Orange County, California. so it never gets cold enough for frost
really even in winter.

what do you guys suggest? also it would be a huge plus if they didnt
really attract bees as this will be a walkway that will be used fairly
much. and while im not allergic nor really scared of bees any guests to
the room might be.

im kinda new at gardening and dont really know what flowers to plan as
there seems to be soo many great kinds, so any help is greatly
appriciated.

Thanks
