I am looking for a good tiller for my 33hp tractor. Does anyone have any
good advice for a tractor tiller?

I have a Kuhn EL35 and it has done well over the last 10 years. It has
held up under New England soil conditions (rocks). The guy down the road
has an EL80 (needs a larger tractor) and it has also held up under the
same conditions.

I've heard about the Kuhn although all the local dealers don't sell them.
You know how a dealer
is if they don't carry something... it must not be good!!--

Once upon a time in a garden far, far away I owned A Troy-Bilt 8 hp
which did all I asked of it and more, uncomplaining and eager.
My current tiller is a MTD 6 hp 18" rear-tine that does the job but
not anything beyond. I can bog it down if I try, it has some minor
design flaws, loves to stall on potato-sized rocks, but considering it
was all of $499 at Home Depot and it always starts and goes (5th
season this year) I can't complain too much.
In my dreams I glide through the garden with a BCS 10hp 24" beauty and
all is verdant around me... Richard
