Natural way to eliminate ivy? TIA

Greetings.

Is there a natural way to eliminate ivy?

Is there a chemical way?

Thank you.

The natural way is fun, pull, cut, pry, whip, rip, dig, wrestle,
swing, flip, turn, hang, jostle, cajole, curse, smash, crush, smatter,
accost, strive against, harangue, belch-over, defoliate, heckle,
usurp, disturb, conquer sans division, divide and re-conquer, pot up,
wish away, denigrate, conclude, and hope.

The chemical way involves sulfuric acid, copper wires and a lightening
rod.

really I've never found ivy to be at all difficult, but it may be the
sandy soil here

I am trying to get my ivy to grow but the damn deer keep defoliating
it as soon as I remove the metal fence!

If you want to remove it, wet it down, and pull it out. Or, invite
deer to your property.
