Default Cornus Mas "Golden Glory" in Zone 4a?

Many references say this variety is good for "Zones 4 to 8", but
others start it out in Zone 5. Our local nurseries tend to the Zone 5
position; since they have to guarantee their plants, I guess they
take a conservative position.

Anybody have any real experience to suggest how well this plant would
do in our St. Paul back yard?
