Small Mandarines
 

My mandarin tree has only very small fruit. I've only had it for a couple
of years, but there's quite a bit of fruit already, could this be why?
Should I have removed some of the fruit when they first began? Will they be
better next year?

no, not unless you remove some of the fruit this year. overbearing often leads to
less fruit set the next year. young trees shouldnt be allowed to set any fruit for
the first couple years. and make sure they get good watering but not toooo much.

Thanks. A bit late now to remove the fruit, most of it's already removed
because they're ready. But next year I'll remove most of it.
