daylily in pots?

Would anyone know if daylilys(full size ones) can handle living in pots
for a while as they have outgrown their bed and it will take a while to
prepare more beds. Say 9months- 18 months?
I would like to divide the ones I have into individual pots for each
division.

Yes, no worries. Keep them watered.
