Default attn: gardeners and art collectors!

Are you a gardener AND a PEANUTS fan? Come to Santa Rosa, California
and enjoy the final days of a special tribute to PEANUTS creator
Charles M. Schulz. Santa Rosa's "Summer of Woodstock" is
preparing to go out with a loud chirp. This tribute features 76 statues
of the loveable fuzzy bird stationed throughout Santa Rosa for the
public to enjoy. Each 5-foot statue has been given its own personality
with the help of local artists, many of them with a garden theme.

The statues are on display around town until September 15 when the
Woodstocks flock to the ball field next to the Charles M. Schulz
Museum, 2301 Hardies Lane, Santa Rosa. Between Sept. 15-24, they will
be displayed on the ball field so you can come by and see them all at
once.

On September 24th you are invited to the Woodstock Festival from
11-3:30 at the ball field. Bring your camera and your kids. There will
be art projects, live music, food vendors and lots of fun!

Then join us for the auction across the street at Snoopy's Home Ice at
4 p.m.

This is the opportunity to own one of the many unique Woodstock
statues. Whether you are an individual that appreciates art or a
business that wants to add color and fun to your image, this auction is
for you!

If you'd just like to view the bidding action seating in the
bleachers at the ice arena is free. Participating in the auction---
$100 for a paddle, admission for 2 to the auction floor as well as
admission for 2 to reception afterward with Schulz family at the Schulz
museum.

To buy paddles: Helen Sharrocks- 707-546-3385 xt. 221
