Default Prunus caroliniana in a planter

I have a three 4' x 4' x 2.5' bottomless planter box. I'm thinking to
plant Prunus caroliniana - Carolina Cherry Laurel in them. I want a
tree to provide a screen to block the neighbors. Will this work.
Can anyone suggest some other trees I might consider. I would theses
trees to grow about minimum of 15' and must be evergreen and rapid
growth.

Thanks in advance.
