Default Dripline Layout

I'm designing the dripline layout for a garden bed and wondering if
there's an advantage one way or the other to the way it's laid out:

A) Four lines stemming off one central line

B) Two lines stemming off central line that wind around

Please see the sketch at http://www.sunriveronline.org/misc/driplines

Thanks.
