Ya know...I'll take an honest to goodness, unapologetic, flat out, self
avowed troll over this sort of deception anyday. This is akin to
stalking...maybe worse...spoofing someone's ID...in this case perhaps the
person's actual real world identity. I did the reverse phone lookup right
after the first post and got this guy's actual name and address. Now it
looks like this was an attack on him...if we're to believe these other
posts. This shit seems downright criminal to me...if that's really the
case.

You're probably right as the target (the real Larry) is the unwitting
victim. If this troll hadn't spoofed and just baited with
sophistication, I'd have admired the craft though. Have you ever
heard of a crank caller who went by the name "The Screamer"? That guy
had talent as he used to call in on John McLaughlin's radio shows and
literally get him talking about the foreign and economic policies of
Chad with ridiculous questions...and then sign off by asking him "Who
is this Chad guy anyway?" (And McLaughlin would explode on the air
over and over again) He also had another radio host pulling his hair
out by asking about the newest US military ordnance called a "Hostron"

How much was the bet for? As I posted earlier, he is posted from a
Road Runner account, quite possibly a proxy, which resolves to
Bradenton, FL. (However, this is not proof that he is not the real
Larry. The real Larry could simply be an ass.)
