BUG KILLING MY VEGGIES
 

I've got some sort of bad insects chewing up my vegetable garden. I have 6
raised beds. 1 bed has tomatos. 2 bed has peppers, and some butterfly weed.
3 bed has some recently emerged squash plants. 4 bed has onions. 5 bed has
some onions, cilantro (flowering) and roses. 6 bed has onions, garlic, and
lettuce.

I started using a mixture of milk as a fungus preventer on my roses. This is the
only thing I have done different this year… but I seem to have a new bug, or
newly noticed bug. As soon as my squash plants emerged, they were attacked
and are nearly dead now with one true leaf showing… I noticed some aphids,
but also some extremely small insect also on the top of the leaves and also some
on the bottom. They are VERY small, and longer than round… if you know
what I mean. They are as small, or smaller than, an aphid… but rather than
round, like aphids, these are almost rectangular. I tried to get a picture of the
bug, but it so dang small I cant get a good picture. Anyway I think it must be
chewing my leaves, because I am noticing some holes in the leaves of my
tomatoes… and they are on them also. The bugs quickly run across the leaf
surfaces when disturbed, and sometimes disappear - as if they flew, or jumped
off the leaf.

Can anyone help me identify these bugs, and does it have anything to do with
me spraying milk on my roses?
