I've got to set about 20 hex shaped stepping stones around the side of my house to the back and while it's not a complicated process...anyone have tips or tricks to making this process easier/faster? Yes it is my wife's idea.

My advice:

place them on top of the grass and try them out for a while, you'll
find that the spacing is important.

Leave them there for a couple weeks...it will give you time to make
sure of the spacing and by that time the folliage under them
will be dead and when you pick them up, you can excavate the now
clearly marked spot.

Don't try to do all of them at once. Do one or two at a time, when
you have time. (i'd never get anything done if i had to set aside time
to do the whole task)
