Default Planning a small garden

This is an area of our garden that we have never used. We plan a small garden and have started to remove some of the old plants and paving;

Here is a rough drawing of the area:



From north to south:





From the lounge area facing north:


This is what we had in mind for the centre


Any advice?? Or examples??

Does not look if I will get responses. Is there a separate site on this forum to help me planning or perhaps another site??

Hi

The previous response was unclear to me, especially looking at a blog of the americans. I'm also not considering a vegetable garden.

Having said that:
