mulch

Mulch when applied correctly can help trees acquire conditions for healthy
growth has they had when they got their genetic codes in a forest. Mulch
comes in different gradations. Some people claim removing mulch from a
forest is good for forest health
(http://www.livingston.net/dstaples/Services/salvage.htm ). I strongly
disagree.

Beware of so-called tree experts who do not understand tree biology.
Storms, fires, floods, earthquakes, and volcanic eruptions keep reminding us
that we are not the boss.
Some people will buy products they do not understand and not buy books that
will give them understanding.

Naturally, since you are a fool, yard boy. You have no concept of what a
salvage operation consists of, nor why it is essential in some
circumstances. You are the fool that thinks one answer fits every question,
and never bothered to be educated in a way that will actually let you
understand bioology or forestry.

Question, fool, where did I ever say that? You are not a forester, not an
arborist, not an expert, and for damn sure not a biologist. Oh Yeah, I
forgot, you have 58 days of short courses.

Again, fool, where did I ever say that? You have no concept of forestry,
biology, or of any other rational science. You do nothing but pimp Shigo's
work, even to copy his work in your so called dictionary.
