Plants that are covered in but not destroyed by bugs?

A bit of an odd request i suppose, but i keep chickens and want to make a garden for them.

I need plants that attract all manner of creepy crawlies and slugs but are quite dense to withstand a battering from both the bugs and the chickens.

Is there such a plant?

Fast growing and dense and covered in bugs.

Thanks

Based on my garden I would say bush beans and pole beans !! I don't
know if they will take the chickens but they are sure loaded with bugs
and slugs !
