Which is why there's an article in major newspapers, such as the
front page
of the Money section in today's edition of USA Today, as well as
a blurb on
the front page of the Business section in today's Chicago Tribune.

Meanwhile back in the real world most people are still using
Windows, regardless of whose article or blurb you can point to,
even though you didn't actually point to any.

That's right. I didn't point to any. All I did was tell you the
name of two
newspapers, the editions of those two newspapers, and the sections
of those
two newspapers where those two news items appear.

Bottom line: you're full of shit.

It *still* galls you that Apple makes the money they make and commands
the high profile they do despite having less than 5% world market
share, doesn't it? Now *that* is "actually" hilarious

The only valid argument I've seen you make recently is that Apple
doesn't compete on the low end. For all your constant trumpeting of
the fact one would think this is news, bit it isn't. Of course, anyone
looking at what has happened to the low end in the last decade would
figure there would be at least a few companies that would stay out of
that end of the pond. Outside of the Mini, which doesn't count IMO,
Apple isn't in the low end of computer system sales, they never have
been and they seem to be doing just fine in spite of it.

"Meanwhile back in the real world..." we notice that, among many other
things, Apple Computer Inc. is:

* The holder of ~90% market share for computer systems costing over
$1000

* The maker of the most popular computer system ever made by a single
company in the history of the world

* The maker of the most popular portable music devices in the history
of the world.

* The maker of the most popular music store in the history of the
world... a store that changed the face of the entire music industry...
forever.

* The maker of one of the most popular cell phones ever invented...
which thoroughly humiliated the rest of the industry in just a few
short years.

* The maker of the best tablet device in the world to date, which,
like its Apple brethren, is soon on its way to becoming the world's
most popular device in its category.

Almost forgot...regarding the thing you found so "hilarious" (about
Apple and video editing), Apple's FCP software holds ~50% of the non-
linear editing market (even outperforming Avid in market share!)

I now return programming back to ""Clavicus Vile", who is more than
satisfied to limit his view of the "real world" for the sake of his
own 'hilarity'

LOL!
