Default Is there a need for Mac advocacy in today's computing environment?

Google found THREE HUNDRED AND EIGHTY EIGHT posts from
Author "Snit" that mentioned both Sandman and CSS.

But your search does not include the "author" parameter.

Here is the first search URL, post-TinyURL, unparsed:

http://groups.google.com/groups/search?q=css
+sandman&enc_author=N29CWRwAAAB8IuxuAkSWsR99E6JXvM AQD-cD5ZFxuGaiAJ5DF-
b-xw&qt_p=Search+author%27s+posts

Parsed, the last part says:

"p=Search+author%27s+posts"

Golly ... there's that word "author" ... and what do you think that
"Search Author's Posts" actually does within Google?

And just before that, it lists:

"enc_author=N29CWRwAAAB8IuxuAkSWsR99E6JXvMAQD-cD5ZFxuGaiAJ5DF-b-xw&qt"

Golly ... that looks like this part is identifying a specific author,
somehow ... what does it actually does within Google?

Gee ... perhaps Google has more than just one authorship search
option?

Just because you personally don't understand how something works
doesn't mean that it doesn't work.

As noted, you have no idea what you are doing. Here, from Google:

http://www.googleguide.com/advanced_operators.html#author
-----
author:
If you include author: in your query, Google will
restrict your Google Groups results to include newsgroup
articles by the author you specify. The author can be a
full or partial name or email address. For example, [
children author:john author:doe ] or [ children
] return articles that
contain the word ³children² written by John Doe or
.
-----

And to show your search failing and, of course, mine working just
fine:

Just because you think you know how something works does not mean you
do. Notice how your search fails and mine, of course, works just fine.

And please remember, it is not as though you were not told how to do
it correctly. Also remember how you have been running from answering
simple questions such as:

-----
Why do you think Sandman lied about his CSS if does not think
it is a big deal?
-----
Out of curiosity, what comment of mine do you think is a lie?
------

Neither one can you answer... the second being a response to your
direct - and false - accusation. And you refuse to comment on
Sandman's many clearly dishonest pages on his site placed there just
to troll me.

And because of this you make *threats* against me. Threats.

What a miserable sense of morality you have!

LOL!
