clueless seedling question
 

Hi staci:

Call the Alaska Cooperative Extension phone number at UAF and tell
them you need to talk to a Master Gardener. They'll give you a phone
number. (I don't know who your extension agent up there is, offhand.)
The MG will have extensive local knowledge to share.

If you bought the house you're living in, toodle out to Claire Lammar's
place on Chena Hot Springs Rd. and check out his fruit tree nursery.
Yes -- apple trees, pears, etc. in Fairbanks : ) Claire is wonderful
and very helpful.

Gardening up there is a blast, because stuff grows like *crazy* in the
heat and long daylight.
