Default Glyphosate

Hmmm . . . interesting.

http://www.responsibletechnology.org/blog/664

1. The glyphosate molecule grabs vital nutrients and doesn¹t let them
go. This process is called chelation and was actually the original
property for which glyphosate was patented in 1964. It was only 10 years
later that it was patented as an herbicide. When applied to crops, it
deprives them of vital minerals necessary for healthy plant
function‹especially for resisting serious soilborne diseases. The
importance of minerals for protecting against disease is well
established. In fact, mineral availability was the single most important
measurement used by several famous plant breeders to identify
disease-resistant varieties.

1. Glyphosate annihilates beneficial soil organisms, such as
Pseudomonas and Bacillus bacteria that live around the roots. Since they
facilitate the uptake of plant nutrients and suppress disease-causing
organisms, their untimely deaths means the plant gets even weaker and
the pathogens even stronger.

1. The herbicide can interfere with photosynthesis, reduce water use
efficiency, lower lignin , damage and shorten root systems, cause plants
to release important sugars, and change soil pH‹all of which can
negatively affect crop health.

1. Glyphosate itself is slightly toxic to plants. It also breaks down
slowly in soil to form another chemical called AMPA
(aminomethylphosphonic acid) which is also toxic. But even the combined
toxic effects of glyphosate and AMPA are not sufficient on their own to
kill plants. It has been demonstrated numerous times since 1984 that
when glyphosate is applied in sterile soil, the plant may be slightly
stunted, but it isn¹t killed (see photo).

1. The actual plant assassins, according to Purdue weed scientists
and others, are severe disease-causing organisms present in almost all
soils. Glyphosate dramatically promotes these, which in turn overrun the
weakened crops with deadly infections.

Hi Billy,

The use of EM's(effective micro-organisms) is the only method of reversing such situations.

These micro-organisms have the ability to breakdown all such toxins and re-populate the soil with good bacteria.

Glyphosate is in the food chain and has been for at least 25 years, ask the ministry of agriculture if they test for its presence in food, I bet you don't get an answer!!!

You can purchase this product at an exorbitant price, approximately £19 to £22 a litre, however you can grow your own. Buy the product as a one off purchase then cultivate the EM's yourself, these rip off companies who sell EM's rely on the fact you have no idea how the process works. By this means they keep you buying a product which in essence you don't need!!

It is simplicity in itself all that you require is a beer brewing type barrel with an airlock, add the required amount of EM's to water and keep feeding it with a Molasses dilution. It is best to have a barrel with a bottom tap so that anaerobic conditions within the barrel are maintained. When you draw off the EM's via the tap replace the same amount with a dilution of water and molasses and re-seal the barrel. the process will keep going as long as you feed the EM's on a regular basis.

As with all brewing keep the barrel in temperate conditions to facilitate the on going replication of said EM's, problem solved!!!

You can foliar spray EM's on your crops or water them into the soil, initially you should water them into the soil for obvious reasons.

Using this method you can once more create a living soil free of toxins and better able to fend off diseases to your crops!

These are only my findings, others may disagree!!
