Foxgloves question

Message-id:

I'm reading from the package.
Foxglove Foxy Mix Digitalis purpurea
Says on the front "Blooms the first year from Seed"
The 1st biennial foxglove bred to bloom the first season, about 5
months after sowing. Bears up to 9 full spikes per plant with closely
set florets in a full range of soft colors. Ht. 3"
So what do y'all think that I should do?

Plant it in midsummer, when other biennial foxgloves drop their seeds which
grow into first-year (obviously) plants. Let them develop for bloom the
following year. It's really too late to start these now. You'd need to sow
them in February to get a good season's development for bloom the first year.
YMMV, of course.
