Hi Kathy and welcome. If you click on the home page at the top of the page, you will find a section devoted to growing orchids where they will give you expert advice. I'm no orchid expert by have quite a few growing in various places around my farmhouse so I'll pass on the following. Place in good light but not direct sunlight. Make sure that they are not stood in water. Water sparingly especially in winter. Place them where the temperature is fairly constant, it doesnt need to be particularly warm but what they dont like is a wildly fluctuating temperature. These as I say are just very general observations. There are many different types of orchids, do you know which one you have or will get if you dont have it yet ??

hello

It is better to access this rec.garden usenet group using
a newsreader program and usenet server, rather than accessing it through
websites like gardenbanter that post it as if it is their their own offering.
There are multiple free newservers like eternal-september available.
