Herbs and flowers MIGHT require quite different care, soil, nutrients, and water. Many flowers require ample nutrients and constant moisture. Many herbs thrive with a lean and dry soil with not many nutrients and only slight moisture. On the other hand, some herbs require abundant moisture; and some flowers refuse to bloom with too many nutrients. Finally, some plants are shallow-rooted while others are deep-rooted. Let us know what herbs and what flowers you want to plant. -- David E.
