What are the circular and rectangular panels with stones embedded? Did you
buy a job lot of 'artistic' tabletops?

large and small circulars: stepping stones stood on
their sides to protect the lining from the sun.

rectangular: edging slabs (also meant to protect the
lining from the sun, but used in the lower part because
they don't float).

extras, rejects, flaws, ones we like in particular,
etc.

all made by Ma in her quest to play with cement as
much as possible. she manages to sell enough of these
sorts of things to maintain her quest. she's in
production mode now with the warm weather and when
there is sunshine enough, over 200 small stepping
stones already done this year. she already has them
sold. she keeps saying this is her last year, that
she's building up her stock so she won't be making
any next year, but i'm kinda doubtful...
