Default Petunia Seedling Question - Pinching

I started some petunias ("Tidal Wave Silver") indoors, hardened them off,
and just planted them. They are pretty tall with a couple of inches of stem
between base leaves and top. The top look like they are about to bud.

Should I pinch these tops off now or wait a while?

Thanks,
Bennett

If they're producing buds/flowers it's usually a good idea to pinch them,
but only the tip buds or flower, not the leaves. They will produce more
vegetative growth initially, which means more blooms later.
