Default Wisteria!!

May you be hit by an earthquake instead!

It would serve you right for gloating.

Just happened to glance up at the bare Wisteria vines on
each side of the back patio. Blooms! Several of them!. I went
half-hysterical, gasping "Oh, oh, wow, uh" and similar orgiastic
sounds. Then took a deep whiff -- indescribable!

It's early, even for So. Calif Coastal. Perhaps because we
have not had any "winter" yet.

Milwaukee is gettting a shot of this stuff too. everybody whining that didnt think
we would get real winter this year cause it was in 50's in January.... yeah right!!!
I lived in Canada and Minn. so know all the tricks for staying warm.
0. dont leave the house
1. never leave the house without eating a real meal. need the sugar hitting the blood
2. get enough sleep
3. start wearing really warm winter clothes right away in fall so never get chilled.
chilling is psychological as well as physical.
4. put the warm clothing on 10-15 minutes before heading out the door. will start
feeling overheated so by the time you actually step outside the outside is going to
feel refreshing.
5. wear a hat or cover the head well.
6. construct a tropical paradise in the basement. retreat there where you cannot
even see the snow. use heat lamps.
6a. start tanning now, the light will help fight off SAD
7. have a count down calendar to the spring equinox (March 21st). each day open a
little door and get a piece of chocolate. those kinda things leading up to Christmas
are wasted. chocolate is required to get from dec 25th until march 21st with sanity
intact. Ingrid
