Thanks for your feedback, Toad, but when I compared the leaves of the Gazania
pics, they are totally different. I think the leaves on the plants I have are
classified as toothed?????
I'm still looking at different websites but can't find anything to compare
them to.

That's too bad. The plant identification psychic already gave it his best
shot and that's all you get.

Besides, Gazania has been this week's secret word so far. It should have
been the right answer, eh?

You might need to try something radical like post a picture of the damn
thing.

Your lame vague description of "funny shaped leaves and daisy-shaped orange
flowers" just doesn't cut it, dude. It could be any of hundreds of species
in the Asteraceae. That's if its even a member of the Asteraceae at all.

Actually Cereoid is of the family ascerbiae. Though they are
prolific producers of good information, they have little tolerance for
folks without clues.

In this case a picture would indeed be worth a thousand words. If you
are unable to take one yourself, you might search the web-- or check
one of the many flower identification books and say "it looks most
like. . . .".

Asking for others to do your lookups is fine. Asking for them to
read your mind is fine, too, but it isn't often productive.

Jim

If you are so damn smart, why don't you identify the plant with the lack of
information given, you pompous retard. What you need is a brain. Your self
righteous attitude just isn't enough when you have nothing to back it up.
You don't even have the sense to stay on topic, asshole.

Thank you, Jim, for the rare support and even rarer show of intellect to be
displayed in this group dominated by pompous fools. Its bad enough they
don't have enough motivation to look things up themselves, they provide ****
poor clues and then you get blasted for pointing out much more is needed by
some imbecile that is completely clueless. Normally such a waste of human
skin would have been kicked out of class for being a disruptive waste of
everyone's time but the Internet is the haven for such useless drek. They
have nothing useful or relevant to say but they crave attention and say the
most asinine things.

The only kind of "therapy" GMT is qualified to give me is a "Lewinsky"!!!
Lots and lots!!!

Sounds like you are in the same group. Where did tolerence go. I'm not able to
produce a pic because I can't afford a digital camera. I just asked a "simple"
question. I'm just a simple gardener asking a question. If someone can answer
it then that's great. If you can't say or answer anything helpful then
don't!!!!
Thanks to the "Down to Earth" people that read this message board.

If you are just the "simple gardener asking a question", the crude reply you
gave shown below should not have been posted. You have yet to give adequate
information about your plant for anyone to identify it. You have not been
helpful. Try to practice what you preach. There is a vast difference between
simple and being simplistic.

Poor little clueless hillbilly humper Julie.

Its a shame your parents didn't have any children that lived.

BTW Tomski, the subject of you came up at the St. Louis convention and it
turns out that you are not at all the horticultural expert you pretend to
be. DT barely knows you. Lavranos was there too. Where were you?

At least Kaczynski was the real thing and not a posey poser like you. Your
letter is in the mail!!!
