I had in a former home a varigated azalea; leaves were light green to almost
lemon color, shredded w/ white. Very unusual. Can't recall where I bought
it and have never seen anything close since. Can anyone help me to find
something close to what I've described? TIA.

Some variegated evergreen azaleas include:

GIRARD¹S HOTSHOT VARIEGATED AZALEA Variegated form AZALEA ŒGIRARD'S HOT
SHOT¹ a fiery deep orange red flowers in such profusion as to completely
obscure the foliage; it¹s semi-evergreen and turns a lovely orange red
in autumn, a Girard hybrid.

"ROBE" AZALEA:* A variegated azalea with exceptional royal purple hose
in hose flowers. Leaves are green with white and will add color to your
azalea beds year round. Prefers shade to part sun.

BRIANNE AZALEA. A strong growing "Variegated Azalea" with bright white
edged leaves slimmer & longer than 'Silversword'; showy rose pink
flowers on wide spreading shrub; leaves pinkish in fall.

SILVER SWORD variegated azalea is a sport of Girard's Rose. Deep red
flowers and variegated foliage with fine white margins. The leaves turn
reddish in the fall.

SHIRA-FUJI variegated azalea. "White Fuji" azalea is a variable white
with stripes of purplish pink and blush of light purplish pink,
occasional white center with margins of strong purplish red noted for
variegated foliage with fine yellowish white margin.

KEISETSU, a strong red Satsuki azalea with a light pink to white center
and leaves with a fine network of yellow lines and yellow blotches on
dark green foliage.

UKI NISHIKI, a basically white Satsuki azalea with pinkish purple
speckles and stripes, and leaves with yellow blotches and stripes on
dark green foliage.

MURASAKI FUJI, white flower with strong purplish pink border. Leaves
are variegated with fine yellowish margins.

SOUTHERN BELLE, a strong purplish pink with a dark blotch, and
variegated leaves with a fine white margin.

RED RUFFLES Variegated, is a red hose in hose flower and leaves
variegated with pale white margins.

SILVER STEAK. Deep purplish red hose in hose azalea with variegated
leaves with white margins and mottling.

GIRARDS VARIEGATED GEM has deep pink flowers and variegated leaves with
brilliant yellow margins.
