Greenhouses

What is the best form of heating to use in your green house at this
time of year. Last year I blackened the inside of the glass and the
bedding plants using paraffin. What a mess I made!.

We have two Homedics electric heaters. They do not keep the greenhouse warm,
but they keep it cool and above 40 on the nights we have hard freezes (27
degrees or less). You can use propane tanks, I hear, but I'm leary of the
exhaust. How big is the house?

Not the best, nor foolproof, but I used 2-ltr soda bottles filled with
water to absorb daylight heat and (one hoped) radiate at night. Tried
to find info on some sort of black paint that would stick as the
bottles expanded and contracted, and someone suggested dying the
*water* as dark as possible.
