may i suggest turning them on their sides so the holes face up and
filling the holes with dirt. you can line them in a row to create a
border by sowing flower seeds or planting small flowers. as a previous
writer mentioned, you can paint them for a more colorful look. good

Even if you don't fill the holes with dirt, place them with the holes
facing up. The lack of shelter will prevent wasps from building nests in
the holes.
